House parties offer differing priorities on opening day 

The House of Representatives adopted rules for the 119th Congress that included changes to its standing procedures and the introduction of 12 policy-related bills, while Democrats proposed two priority bills to expand Medicare's drug price negotiation program and make the enhanced child tax credit permanent.
