Keith Urban is reportedly “absolutely devastated” over ex-wife Nicole Kidman cozying up to Michael Reinstein.
“Up until now, the door had been firmly closed on his relationship with Nicole,” an insider told Australian outlet New Idea.
“But now he still had hopes there might be a chance at reconciliation. He’s absolutely devastated and is going through that feeling of deep loss all over again.”
The source claimed that seeing Kidman move on prompted the country singer to ponder his own romantic future.
“Seeing Nicole seemingly moving on is permitting him to do the same,” the insider alleged.
“Don’t be surprised if Keith steps out with a revenge romance of his own. He knows he has to move on.”
Page Six has reached out to Urban’s rep for comment.
Kidman was spotted cozying up with private equity investor Michael Reinstein in Italy last month.
In photos obtained by Page Six at the time, the two stood close and chatted outside the “Big Little Lies” star’s hotel in Portofino.
Reinstein founded Regent, a global private equity firm, in 2013, serving as the company’s chairman and chief investment officer.
In September 2025, Kidman filed for divorce from Urban, nearly two decades after they tied the knot.
The former couple — who share daughters Sunday, 18, and Faith, 15 — finalized their divorce in January.
That same month, Urban was romantically linked to fellow country singer Karley Scott Collins.
However, Collins spoke out and shut down rumors she was dating Urban.
Following his initial split from Kidman, Urban was linked to his guitarist, Maggie Baugh. But that rumored romance was shut down by a friend, who called the claims “absolutely not true.”
Kidman and Urban seem to be on good terms since calling it quits
In June, the Golden Globe winner paid tribute to her ex for Father’s Day, sharing a black-and-white photo of Urban carrying their two girls when they were little.
That same month, the musician publicly wished Kidman a happy birthday.
