Prince William and Kate Middleton “are shining a light on things that are important to them” as they ignore Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who just moved back to the UK.

Ailsa Anderson, the late Queen Elizabeth’s press secretary, told People that the Prince and Princess of Wales don’t want to be “distracted” by “all this other noise” related to the Sussexes’ move.

But royal historian Amanda Foreman said avoiding Harry and Markle’s drama “will be incredibly draining” for William and Middleton, both 44.

“They will always have to look over their shoulders and factor them in,” Foreman told the outlet. “And all they can do is deflect.”

“Yet, they’ll get lots of jabs and questions: ‘When are you going to make up with your brother?’”

Royal author Simon Vigar, meanwhile, said William and Middleton’s approach in handling Harry, who just turned 42, and Markle, 45, “is to keep calm and carry on.”

Additionally, “William and Catherine” author Russell Myers confirmed that William and his father, King Charles III, “are completely united on the Sussexes not representing the royal family.”

“It’s without a doubt how in sync they are on this matter,” Myers said.

Charles, 77, recently sent out a letter clarifying that Harry and Markle will not be working royals carrying out official engagements now that they’re back in England.

The monarch also called the couple “private citizens” in his note, which was allegedly sent to the media without consulting the duo.

But according to Myers, William isn’t stopping his father from fully reconciling with Harry and Markle.

“William’s view is clear — any relationship his father has with Harry or the Sussexes as a family is entirely up to him,” said Myers. “But looking toward the future, he will have no relationship with them, in a working or private capacity whatsoever.”

A palace source also said the drama between the two couples “was very hard” on William and Middleton, so the insider “wouldn’t blame William for being cautious.”

In fact, Anderson noted that William and Middleton’s children — Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8 — will not have a relationship with Harry and Markle’s kids — Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5 — anytime soon.

“It’s clearly incredibly difficult. The trust has broken down,” Anderson told People. “Let’s hope it’s not broken completely, and there’s a chink in the armor on both sides and there could be some sort of reconciliation. But that’s not happening anytime soon.”

Page Six has reached out to Buckingham Palace and the Sussexes’ reps for comment.

The Sussexes have been estranged from the future king and his wife ever since they quit the royal family and moved to California six years ago.

But last month, Page Six confirmed that Harry and Markle were moving back to England with their kids for an “extended period,” after they reunited with Charles, who has cancer, at Highgrove House over the summer.

The Sussexes landed in the UK on Aug. 26 and have since pulled their children from their new school just two days into the term for security reasons.

William and Middleton have not publicly addressed Harry and Markle’s move.
