When it comes to selling the products you sell in Schedule 1, it’s only a matter of time until you need to protect yourself, whether that’s from NPCs, the police, or even cartel members. For that, you’ll need two things: the weapons dealer and a gun.

Now you could be having a wonderful time finding the best mixes for your drugs, enjoying a little betting at the casino, or playing with your friend through the game’s co-op features, but there comes a time when you need to start watching your back. After all, a powerful empire always has its enemies.

So, if you’re looking to stay safe and avoid any major trouble with the police, then here’s how to unlock the weapons dealer and get a gun in Schedule 1.

How to unlock the weapons dealer

To unlock the weapons dealer in Schedule 1, you’ll need to be at Hoodlum V and have at least $10,000 to your name. The best way to do this is to sell your drugs, go through the main quest, and sleep, as all will offer you XP.

Then, head down to the Warehouse near Taco Ticklers. Look for a red door with a grey slit and knock on it. If you’re at Hoodlum V and have $10,000, then the door should automatically open, so long as it’s between 6 pm and 6 am.

Head to the top of the Warehouse to find the door.

Then, simply head inside and you’ll see a man named Stan, with a table full of weapons for you to purchase.

How to get a gun

To get a gun, you’ll want to speak to Stan in the Warehouse once you’re Hoodlum V and purchase your first gun. There are a variety of different weapons there for you to choose, including melee weapons, but the Revolver is a great place to start.

It’ll cost you $1,000 and will appear in your inventory. Once you do have the gun, try not to aim it at Stan or wave it around in public, as the police will quickly take you down.

All weapons

Altogether, there are five different weapons you can get in Schedule 1, with three being melee and two being ranged. Of course, other than the Machete, the other melee weapons are passable in public, but you’ll want to be cautious regardless.

How to get weapons through console commands

If going through the main story and getting to Hoodlum V is a bit of a trek, you can always use console commands to get a weapon.

To do so, head to our Console Commands guide to install MelonLoader. Then press F8 on your keyboard and type: give weaponname. Then simply replace the ‘weaponname’ with any of the above weapons, and you’ll receive it instantly into your inventory.

So, that’s how to get hold of a gun and gain access to the weapons dealer in Schedule 1. While grinding through the game to get $10,000 or level up, be sure to check out how to recruit more dealers to help automate your production or take a look at the upcoming features in the roadmap.
