Last night, viewers from all across the country watched as vice presidential nominees JD Vance and Tim Walz took the stage in New York City for their first debate.
And, while their political points made headlines, there was something else that arguably caught more attention from viewers - and that was Senator Vance's stunning blue eyes.
Vance's blue eyes truly popped last night as he looked at the camera, and many suggested that he could even be wearing eyeliner, even though the disgraced former Rep. George Santos denied it.
However, that didn't stop viewers from gushing over Vance's striking eyes on X, as Google searches for eyeliner exploded during the VP debate.
'I'll just say it. The REAL winners tonight were every single person who got to stare at JD Vance's baby blues. Dude's eyes are like staring into the most romantical country song ever. Fact check THAT,' one person wrote.

'When Billie Eilish released her hit song “Ocean Eyes” in late 2016, JD Vance’s Hillbilly Elegy was atop the best seller list. It remains unclear whether Eilish’s song was about Vance’s luminous, blue eyes,' a second X user joked.
'Anyone else can’t stop looking at Vance’s sparkling blue eyes?' someone else typed.
One person even snapped a picture from the debate of Walz looking at Vance, writing, 'He is smitten with lust by the very sight of Vance’s pearl blue eyes and can’t look away!'

Canada-based makeup artist Selena Marchand revealed to DailyMail.com that one of her favorite colors to use around the eye is the $25 Woodwinked eyeshadow by Mac Cosmetics.
'It’s a medium bronzy shade that I use all over the top of the lid and on the lower lash line,' she told DailyMail.com.
'Coat your lashes in black mascara and top with a chocolate brown eye pencil on the top of your lid and you blue eyes will look as blue as the ocean,' Marchand shared.

New York City-based celebrity eyebrow specialist Joey Healy, owner of Joey Healy Eyebrow Studio, also weighed in to DailyMail.com about Vance's stunning eye look.
'People are talking about his beautiful blue eyes, but what really makes them stand out are his dark eyelashes,' Healy explained to DailyMail.com.
Healy said that one way to achieve this was through eyelash tinting.
'We always tint lashes black, because that’s what makes them really pop,' the Joey Healy Eyebrow Collection founder said. 'No one really asks for brown or other colors since black gives that dramatic contrast.'
The professional added that tinting is a great option for men, too, since it can be quite subtle, and 'it defines without the need for mascara.'
Healy, who also has blue eyes, tints his lashes as well.
'It even makes the whites of your eyes—called the sclera—look brighter, which makes the iris stand out, no matter the color,' he raved.
And, from a makeup standpoint, the eyebrow artist suggested looking at color theory to find the perfect shade for your baby blues.
'In art, the complementary color to blue is orange,' Healy divulged. 'Blue eyes always look more vibrant next to orange hues.'
'Now, not everyone is into orange eyeshadow, but you can achieve the same effect with more wearable shades like rust, terracotta, or warm browns,' he continued.
'These colors are great for anyone wearing eyeshadow and wanting their blue eyes to pop.'
Other makeup artists on TikTok have also posted videos in the past that explain how to make blue eyes stand out.
Similarly, Los-Angeles based makeup artist Courtney Hart suggested that warm-toned colors look the best on blue eyes in a video she made.
In the clip, she used a color wheel to demonstrate this, explaining that the color opposite the blue shades, which were warm, yellow tones, would work the best for your specific blue eye color.
'I found the closer you get to gold, the better,' she explained.
Like Marchand, she also used an eyeshadow by Mac Cosmetics, this one called 'Amber Lights.'
Hart also suggested using a warm brown mascara to coat the lashes, promising that the final look will really enhance blue eyes.
However, when it comes to what not to do, Marchand warned that you should never use bright colors around the eyes, as they definitely won't make your baby blues stand out like Vance's.
'I like to use neutrals!' she told DailyMail.com.
