The iconic Kilo 141 Assault Rifle is coming back in Black Ops 6 and Warzone to celebrate the return of Verdansk, and you can unlock it for free.
Season 3 is set to be one of the biggest Call of Duty updates in recent memory, thanks in no small part to the long-awaited comeback of Verdansk. The OG map is being reintroduced for the first time since 2021, bringing exclusive movement mechanics to Warzone as well as classic features like Contracts.
To fully recreate the glory days, a host of classic guns from the time are also being added, including the popular Kilo 141 AR. The best part is that you can unlock it for free, so here’s everything you need to know.
How to get free Kilo 141 in Warzone & BO6
To earn the Kilo 141, all you have to do is open the Warzone menu between April 2 and 3. Activision confirmed that the battle royale will be offline during this time as they gear up for the start of Season 3, but just going into the menus will be enough to unlock the assault rifle.
Although you won’t be able to use it in Warzone right away, the third season of Black Ops 6 multiplayer and Zombies goes live on April 2, so you can add it to your loadouts in those modes instantly.

Don’t worry if you miss out, though, as the Kilo will still be available later in the season, although it hasn’t been revealed exactly how.
Usually, new guns are rewards in the Battle Pass or in-game events that don’t require any additional cost. But given that the devs specified that using the above method grants the AR for free, it’s possible that this could change.
We know that Season 3 is also bringing back the HDR Sniper Rifle, CR.56 AMAX Assault Rifle, and Kali Sticks melee, as well as a Grau conversion for the Swat 5.56, so the Kilo might be locked behind a paywall if you don’t get it for free.
The good news is that there’s no need to worry about leveling it up to make it viable in Warzone, as meta attachments will be available on the returning weapons straight off the bat.
