The Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 part of the 2026 Esports World Cup is about to get underway, with $600,000 on offer for the winners. Here’s what you need to know.
Another week of the 2026 Esports World Cup is getting underway this week, with champions in Apex Legends, Valorant, Dota 2, and League of Legends already being crowned.
This time, the attention switches to other FPS titles, including Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Last year’s champions, OpTic Gaming, are back to defend their crown but are coming off a tough loss to their arch-rivals, FaZe Vegas, at Call of Duty Champs.
On top of that, this is the final Black Ops 7 event before attention turns to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. So, everyone will be looking to go out with a bang. Here’s what you need to know.
Black Ops 7 EWC 2026 streams
Just like every other title at the 2026 Esports World Cup, every Black Ops 7 matchup will be broadcast across both Twitch and YouTube.
So, if you don’t want to watch one of the watch party streams that Scump, The Flank, and many others go live with, you will have plenty of options as to where to watch the games.
Black Ops 7 EWC 2026 schedule
After the Last Chance Qualifiers for a number of top Challenger teams, the group stage for Black Ops 7 gets underway on August 5, with Movistar Koi taking on Carolina Royal Ravens in the opening game.
The group stage consists of two groups of eight teams playing best-of-five series’, with the top four in each group moving on to the play-off stage. All play-off games are best-of-seven, with the grand finals being a best-of-nine.
The grand final, where everyone wants to be, will happen on Sunday, August 9, so things will wrap up pretty quickly this week.

Black Ops 7 EWC 2026 rosters
As noted, defending champs OpTic Gaming are back at EWC, while Black Ops 7 CoD Champs FaZe Clan will also be looking to continue their momentum.
The usual Call of Duty League squads do have the option to play under different names at EWC, hence OpTic Gaming being that rather than OpTic Texas. So, don’t get confused when your squad takes to the stage.
The 16-team competition also sees four challenger teams taking part, these are: OMIT, Project Notorious, Team WaR, and The Pit.
