An adventurous Montana centenarian crossed a high-flying item off her bucket list in celebration of her 100th birthday.

Marklyn Lynn, who hit the century mark on April 4, got a late birthday present last week when her senior care community for the past 15 years asked a ziplining company to take her for a ride.

She is the oldest customer to ride a zipline operated by Montana Whitewater Rafting and Yellowstone Zipline, which modified its course for Lynn and a friend, Cowboy State Daily reported.

Instead of having to climb the rope bridges and ladders on the course, the company made sure she would have a straight shot to their longest zipline.

'As soon as I heard about Marklyn's wish, I knew I was going to do whatever it took to make that happen for her,' zipline manager Cody Rogers told Cowboy State Daily.

'If they can get her here, I will do it. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was prepared for anything.'

A video posted by her senior care community, The Crossings, showed Lynn taking off the platform with Rogers in tow - a wide smile spread across her face.

'I'm a little hungover today but I wouldn't have not done it. Never! I loved it.'

Beth Hoferer, an administrator at The Crossings, wondered whether Lynn could qualify for a world record.

But the adrenaline junkie pooh-poohed the idea, saying she would rather live in the moment.

'You never know when you wake up in the morning what the end of the day is going to be like,' she said.

Lynn had always been an adventurer

Her son, Chris, told Cowboy State Daily that his family would frequently hike in the Rocky Mountain region until his father passed away at 94.

To this day, Lynn still takes her walker around the assisted living facility when it's nice outside.
