Fire fighters are tackling a blaze which has broken out at an industrial recycling facility in Widnes, Cheshire this afternoon.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they attended the site of Everite Road, housing Fresco Recycling based inside the Towngate Business Centre industrial estate.
Photos posted on social media and supplied to GB News show thick clouds of black smoke fill the sky above the site, visible for miles.
The fire service said the blaze involves near 700 tons of waste cardboard at the centre, and that all workers are accounted for, with no casualties reported.
