It has been a year since WWE legend Hulk Hogan tragically passed away from a heart attack at the age of just 71.
And it seems like his family still has some bumps in the road to overcome.
In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, the former pro wrestler's son Nick Hogan gave an update on how the family is holding up today following his father's death and how they're carrying on his legacy.
Hulk is survived by his wife, Sky Daily, his two children Brooke and Nick, as well as his ex-wives Linda Hogan and Jennifer McDaniel.
'Everyone's doing great. Everyone's been really supportive and everyone's really been strong this past year. So grateful to have a fantastic support group with us,' Nick, 36, told the Daily Mail.
'Sky's doing great. Sky and her family and everyone, we've all remained really close.

'And it was important to us to have that unity and to have that support group to us all intact. So everyone's been great and everyone has really come together this past year to help each other out and to help us get through this difficult time.'
When asked about his older sister Brooke, 38, he shared: 'Brooke's doing great. She just had a new show on HGTV, Rock the Block, and she did phenomenal there. And we're all really proud of her and excited to see what she's got going on.
'And she's got the two kids now and it's exciting. It's an exciting time for her to be starting a family. And we love Brookie and just really excited to see what she's got going on.'
Nick's update is a far cry from previous updates shared by Brooke herself, and hints that the family may be repairing relationships in the wake of Hulk's sad death.
Brooke, who's married to Steven Oleksy and has one-year-old fraternal twins, Oliver Andrew and Molly Gene, has been estranged from the family and revealed that she 'didn't speak' to her father for 'two years' before his death.
In April, she told Us Weekly that she was still estranged from her mom Linda, 66, and Nick, although she said she will always have love for her younger sibling.
'The saddest thing about broken families is the siblings,' Brooke said. 'The siblings suffer the most because you’re always forced to take a side. Nick and I, even though we had the same parents, we had two very different upbringings and two very different experiences.
'That is one thing my parents always said: "You guys are siblings, you always have to have each other’s back." No matter what trouble my brother gets into, no matter what he does or who he is, that’s my brother.'

She added, 'Even if we don’t talk - because I haven’t felt supported by him in times where I really needed to feel that, sometimes I feel like he saw the same things I did and wouldn’t be a united front, that’s the thing that hurts me the most - but... That’s my little brother and that will never change. He’s got a big sister 'til the end.'
While Brooke was left out of her father's $5 million will, following her request to be removed in 2023, the large sum of money was passed on to Nick, who was named the sole beneficiary.
'I mean, every family has some difficult moments, but you get through it and just try to carry on the best way forward,' Nick, who is married to Tana Lea, told the Daily Mail about his family's issues that have been brought to light after Hulk's passing.
Hulk's one year death anniversary took place on July 24 – one year on from his sudden death at his home in Clearwater, Florida, and secret battle with chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
'On the anniversary of his passing, we really took a day just to be still and to think about him in a way that this whole year has progressed and seen that everything that we're doing and moving forward in a way that we really feel he would be proud and excited to keep all these ventures going with Slam Sports Bar, our retail stores, Hulk Hogan's Wrestling Shop,' Nick said about the special day.

'We've got Hogan's Hangout open in Florida, Real American Freestyle, the wrestling company that we'd started is just exploding in popularity, so that's doing great. Real American Beer is all over. It's doing great as well. So with all those things and taking a day to really look back on this past year was really important to us.'
On August 1, he and his family celebrated Hulk Hogan Day in Florida. The annual holiday to 'keep the thrill of Hulkamania fresh in everyone's minds' was commissioned by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in 2025.
The next big celebration will be the grand opening of Slam Sports Bar in New York City, coming this September.
The sports bar, which is located across from Madison Square Garden, was designed by ICRAVE, a Journey studio and the team behind the interior spaces of the Las Vegas Sphere.
'We have two stories. We're all glass, all incredible views of the Garden, both in day and night and just an incredible spot for a sports bar,' Rich Rosen, founder and CEO of Slam Sports Bar, who is working closely with Nick, told the Daily Mail.
'Nick has been unbelievable. Without Nick, this is so much more difficult to achieve... It's just a great relationship I have with Nick like I had with his dad. And it's just a very humbling experience to be able to partner with these people and develop a brand worthy of somebody like Hulk.'

Nick said that all the businesses are 'pretty much under my leadership,' but that the rest of the family is 'excited' about what's to come.
'A lot of my family members are excited about it, but they're all kind of in a way in a position where I'm, in terms of leadership for all of the Hogan family brands, it all kind of comes down to me right now.
'So I'm excited to have them all join and come hang out and be part of this and check it out. But as far as leadership and moving all the business stuff forward, it's all pretty much under my leadership,' he explained.
Following the opening of the sports bar, Nick teased that there are 'a lot of Hulk Hogan related projects' that are still to come. But details can't be revealed yet.
'I don't think I'm allowed to talk about any of them in particular, specifically just other than in generalities telling you that there are some very exciting projects in the works right now. On the level of what you just saw with the Netflix documentary [Hulk Hogan: Real American] and the success of that was tremendous,' he spilled.
'So that's got everyone really excited about all of these other projects moving forward. There is one in particular that is at that same level [of the four-part Netflix documentary] that is moving forward at a rapid pace, which is very exciting.'

He added: 'We have a fantastic relationship with WWE and they have been really supportive of us.'
Nick concluded by telling the Daily Mail that he wanted to send a special 'thank you' to all the fans around the world that loved Hulk.
'The appreciation that they've shown me and all the kind messages they've sent me about how my dad impacted their lives and influenced them or helped them in a way just means so much to me. So just a huge thank you to all the fans and all of our supporters around the world,' he said.
