A mysterious chicken-slaughtering humanoid is stalking the desert near the US-Mexico border, according to a leading paranormal investigator trying to track down the “predator.”
The “Valley of Juárez Creature” – described as a small, hairless two-foot-tall creature – has reportedly been gobbling up chickens in Mexico, claims veteran Mexican ufologist José Jaime Maussan.
“It’s a predator. I’m not saying it’s extraterrestrial, but it is something scary,” Maussan told local Mexican media, according to the El Paso Times.
The occult detective claimed to multiple Mexican outlets that several witnesses have spotted the miniature monster killing fowl throughout the Mexican state of Chihuahua, the outlet reported.
“It has agility. It has intelligence. It walks on two feet. It appears human. It has a head like a human,” Maussan told one paper about the creature, though adding it didn’t appear to be a threat to humans.
The paranormal investigator even claimed that a young boy saw the cryptid grab a chicken by the head before disappearing up a tree.
Repeated sightings of the “predator” has led Maussan on a frantic search in the hopes of discovering the truth behind the “Valley of Juárez Creature.”
“Why did it appear there? It’s a mystery. Are they interdimensional beings? Are they beings who came with other beings? Did they come in ships?” Maussan told one outlet about the being’s possible origins.
The finer details about the alleged sightings by the renowned ufologist – whose prior claims regarding evidence of extraterrestrial life have been hotly contested – has been rather slim.
But this hasn’t stopped the paranormal investigator from searching for the truth, as he was seen investigating the creature at Tepeyac Cemetery in Juárez last Monday.
“This story will go around the world. Not just Mexico but the entire world,” Maussan told reporters during his investigation last week.
Public safety officials in both El Paso and Juárez have said that they have not received any reports regarding a monster slaying chickens, the El Paso Times reported.
