Tsunami warning in SF Bay Area - 200 mile south. Looks like two big ones - one off the coast and one on land

Yeah. We get 4-4.5 in the area, quite a bit. Nothing-burgers. A 7 might get my attention.

Got an alert for the quake about a half hour ago. A tsunami alert a few minutes later. Didn’t feel anything, (Coos Bay, OR) so I decided to wait tor an FR thread on the subject. The largely undeveloped North Spit is probably the most vulnerable to a small tsunami from that dirrection.

Have a flip going on at Bocana Street in San Francisco... I just don’t want to go literally flip!

I was in the ‘89 quake.
NOT fun at all.
Right on what I call “the keystone” to the Cascadia Fault.
Probably too deep to be dangerous but its the biggest we have had in that area for decades.

My wife and I were in our family room placing a Costco order when both cell phones went off and warned us of a Tsunami and a current earthquake.

Our home is @ a 400+ foot high elevation.
evel. If a Tsunami hits us, California is agoner.

Friends and relatives up and down California felt minimal shaking. I felt some at my feet, and my wife 3’ didn’t feel anything.
