Chelsea Handler attempted to normalize and justify drug use on Thursday’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
What started as a normal conversation quickly turned into an unhinged rant about how the comedian advocates the use of drugs to “help people have more fun.” Handler bragged bout her drug use and admitted she encourages her peers to indulge. “I love drugs … micro-dosing especially, people have this stigmatization around drugs that I find very annoying. Drugs can help so many people,” Handler said on live television.
Handler explained that she felt certain types and quantities of drugs made the experience acceptable
“I’m not talking about street drugs like cocaine and heroin, those are bad, while they can be fun… they’re bad,” she said.
“I’m talking about like psilocybin and LSD and natural drugs that actually can, you know, they treat depression and they help people have more fun.”
She continued to embrace drug use in front of millions of viewers that tuned in to the talk show, seemingly unaware of the dangerous message she was sending.

Handler claimed she didn’t overuse drugs but openly supported their use under certain conditions.
“But micro-dose, not like where you’re off your rocker and hallucinating.”
The trainwreck continued when she uncontrollably blubbered about how she felt that taking small doses of drugs was a casual, normal thing to do.
“Like, say a macro-dose is like 500 milligrams. I’m talking about taking 50 milligrams of like MDMA or LSD,” she said.
Just when it seemed the conversation couldn’t get worse, it did. Handler bragged to Kimmel about how generous she was at the Vanity Fair Oscars party, and told the talk show host that she freely distributed drugs to the celebrities in attendance at the high-end event.

“I share it with everybody. I love giving people drugs!” Handler said.
“You should have seen me at the Vanity Fair party, the Oscars, oh my God I was giving it out to everyone I was like, ‘Take this you’re going to have a great time’ and people were like, ‘Okay,’ ” she said.
Handler irresponsibly pretended she had drug use all figured out and made it seem like a risk-free experience.
“I mean I get their medical background, you know what I mean? I’m not irresponsible about it,” she said.

This isn’t the first time Handler advocated drug use. She shared images of her 50th birthday celebration on social media in February, and told fans she was taking LSD while skiing in nothing but a bikini. Kimmel questioned whether skiing after micro-dosing LSD was dangerous, but Handler insisted it just “heightens whatever experience you’re having.”
