IDF reveals exclusive footage of October 7 on anniversary of massacre

The IDF released exclusive footage from the October 7 massacre to mark the one-year anniversary of the brutal Hamas attack.

The IDF also released a statement with the footage, saying, "On the morning of October 7, the Hamas terrorist organization launched a brutal attack on Israel. Security forces swiftly moved south, fighting bravely alongside local defense forces in the surrounding communities to repel the assault and protect the residents of the Gaza border and the country as a whole."

"On that day, Unit 888 engaged in battles across several settlements and kibbutzim, including Erez, Urim, Re’im, Be’eri, Alumim, and Nahal Oz. In a heroic fight at Kibbutz Re’im, during which “dozens of terrorists were eliminated,” the unit’s commander, Colonel Roy Yosef Levi, was killed, as was Captain Yotam Ben Bast, commander of the unit's training platoon," the statement concluded
