Immigration shifts political power in the United States - without a single immigrant having to vote...Seats in the U.S. House of Representatives and thus votes in the Electoral College are apportioned among the states based on each one's total population - not by the number of citizens or legal residents...Districts where non-citizens comprise a large share of the population tend to vote Democratic, while high-citizenship districts tend to vote Republican.

Illegal immigration, if not reversed, will destroy the United States. It will cause our “Balkanization”.

It will not cause Balkanization. Because we are already Balkanized. It’s not immigration. This country was built on it. It’s caused by The welfare state including SS and the administrative drive for power.
One is spending us into the need for more people. Spending cannot be sustained with a growing population though the Ponzi scheme will reach its limits. The Admin state cause us to cluster together to fight for privileges and spoils.
Until the last 40 years immigrants came here for freedom. And we happily let them struggle even in poverty and hatred. Now? Even if they want to work and be free the Progs try to turn them into welfare dependent serfs.
Many of our fellow citizens are in no way any better than the immigrants. Being a citizen shouldn’t entitle you to welfare and special rights.
How many here would agree to eliminating all welfare including SS? None. So that means we can continue to battle each other for the loot.
Look at the Red state blue state divide. California/NY VS. FL/TX.

This is why Dems blocked Trump’s effort to list citizenship on the census.
If the census had shown the distribution of noncitizens and how much they affect the congressional maps, people would be demanding to change the rules!
Many democratic congressmen represent just few citizens, as they districts are majority noncitizen districts!

This is actually the biggest and worst way noncitizens affect the vote.
People are (rightfully) upset of non-citizens on the voting rolls and actually voting, but that is rather small problem, lot smaller that their effect on congressional allocation.
Not only it affects congressional seats, but all state senates and congresses. The presidential election is also affected as states with more non-citizens get larger number of electoral votes. (CA and NY e.g. would get few electoral votes less).
So, in close election, it could be the non-citizens electing the president, without ever casting a vote!

I believe it was Franklin or Jefferson that said the demise of America will come from within. It’s beginning to look like it.

Also...
New Naturalized USA citizens vote 70% Democrat.
Including Amnesty and minor children turning 18, the USA has averaged 1 million new citizens per year for the last 25 years!

Just look at the congressional election totals (any year).
You will find a huge disparities of total votes cast among districts.
It is not, that the “less fortunate” do not vote, but, mostly, because there are just not enough citizens, eligible to vote, in some districts!
