Wrestling fans have dug up some of Linda McMahon's craziest moments after the WWE's first lady was chosen to serve as Donald Trump's education secretary.
McMahon is now separated from Vince McMahon but together she and the billionaire promoter co-founded the WWE and then built the organization into a giant of sports entertainment.
Trump called it his 'great honor' to announce McMahon's appointment, claiming the former WWE CEO will 'fight tirelessly to... empower parents to make the best Education decisions for their families'.
But last month, both Vince and Linda McMahon were targeted in a new lawsuit that accuses the WWE and its founders of fostering a culture of sexual abuse and looking the other way while a longtime ringside announcer preyed on young men he hired as 'ring boys'.
The complaint alleges that Melvin Phillips, who died in 2012, would target young men from disadvantaged backgrounds and assault them in his dressing room, hotels and even in the wrestlers’ locker room. The plaintiffs were all between 13 and 15 when they met Phillips.
Vince McMahon resigned from WWE’s parent company TKO Group Holdings earlier this year amid his own sex trafficking scandal. A former WWE employee accused him of - among other things - defecating on her head during a threesome. He denies the allegations.

President-elect Donald Trump has chosen McMahon to be his new education secretary
Trump is among the star names who have appeared in the WWE ring and Linda McMahon's connection with the president-elect has continued in recent years.
The 76-year-old worked in Trump's first administration as leader the Small Business Administration, with Trump later branding her 'a superstar'.
Now she is primed for a return to Capitol Hill. McMahon also previously served on the Connecticut Board of Education and claimed she once planned to become a teacher.
But she has instead become best-known for her role alongside 'Mr McMahon', the in-ring persona created by her husband.
Following the news of McMahon's appointment on Wednesday, clips of her antics in the WWE flooded social media.
They included a clip of legendary wrestler Kane performing a tombstone piledriver on McMahon. In the clip, Kane - whose real name is Glenn Jacobs - grabs Linda by the hair before turning her upside down and 'dropping' her on her head.
Remarkably, Jacobs, 57, is now in politics himself, too. He serves as Mayor of Knox County in Tennessee. 'Mayor of Knox County, TN tombstones our next Secretary of Education in what must be a dispute over federalism,' one fan joked on X.
Another user posted a compilation of McMahon - the co-chair of Donald Trump’s transition team - having in-ring 'arguments' with her daughter Stephanie.

At one point in the video, Linda slaps Stephanie in the face, prompting Stephanie's husband - WWE star Triple H - to put her head between his legs.
As he attempts to perform his iconic 'pedigree' move, McMahon's son Shane intervenes to save his mother. Later in the clip, Stephanie calls her mom a 'conniving b****' before slapping her to the canvas.
'Ladies and gentlemen, I present your new Secretary of Education.... MOTHER Linda McMahon,' an X user wrote.
'Fun Fact: Linda McMahon will be the first Secretary of Education to survive a Stone Cold Stunner,' another fan added alongside a clip of her on the receiving end of Steve Austin's finishing move.
But the latest lawsuit, filed last month in Maryland, hangs over the McMahon dynasty.
Both Linda and Vince were well aware of Phillips’ brazen misconduct but did little to stop him, according to the complaint. An attorney representing Vince last month denied the latest abuse allegations.
