Influencer Alyshia 'Mama-A' Rushing dies age 26 in horror car crash

TikTok star Alyshia Rushing, known as her online moniker 'Mama-A,' has died at age 26.

The influencer, who amassed over half a million followers on TikTok, was identified by police as a victim killed in a fatal car crash on I-85 in Montgomery, Alabama, over the weekend, according to WFSA 12 News. 

The crash occurred on Saturday, August 22, between the exits for Taylor Road and Chantilly Parkway.

A man in another vehicle involved in the crash, named Landon Dunn, 20, was also killed, while another male passenger in the car was brought to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries, according to the outlet.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Rushing, who has four children, was known for her vlog-style videos.

She posted many videos related to her children, including their 'after school routine' and running errands.

Rushing also documented her life as as stay-at-home mom, posting various 'day in the life' vlogs of her day.

The last video she posted before her death was an advertisement for wigs from Cynosure Hair Shop.

In the clip, which was shared three days prior to her death, she put on the wig and showed herself styling it.

A GoFundMe has been set up by her family in support of her four children, Karter, Raelynn, Zoey and Aydan.

'It is with profoundly heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Alyshia Rushing, lovingly known to so many as “Mama A,"' the GoFundMe read. 

'There are no words that can fully express the pain of losing someone so suddenly,' the statement continued.

The message written in the GoFundMe shared that Alyshia was the 'greatest source of love' for her four children.

The statement continued: 'Alyshia was their mother, caregiver, provider, safe place and greatest source of love. 

'Her children are now facing an unimaginable loss while also adjusting to the practical changes that come with life without her.

'Their father is now the only one caring for and providing for all four children, and this fundraiser has been created to help provide the stability, care and resources they urgently need during this difficult transition.

'Donations will directly support Karter, Raelynn, Zoey, and Aydan’s immediate and ongoing needs, including food, clothing, housing, school expenses, transportation, childcare, activities, counseling and other essential costs. 

'Funds will also help their father prepare for future expenses and ensure the children can continue growing, learning and healing in a safe and supportive environment.'

A separate GoFundMe page has also been created by Dunn's family in honor of him. Dunn was a member of the US Marine Corps.
