Influencer couple Laura Mellado and Victor Hallman heartbreakingly announces death of rainbow baby

A married influencer couple has revealed the devastating loss of their rainbow baby.

Laura Mellado and Victor Hallman recently took to their Instagram to share the heartbreaking loss of their child due to stillbirth during the final month of pregnancy.

The couple shared a black and white snap featuring Mellado holding their baby girl as Hallman wrapped his arm around his wife.

A rainbow baby is a baby born after the parents have experienced a pregnancy loss, stillbirth, or infant death. Though a rainbow baby often used to refer to a healthy living baby, it can sadly be stillborn as well.

The term draws from the natural phenomenon of a rainbow appearing after a dark and turbulent storm, symbolizing hope, and healing during a period of grief. 

Mellado had a miscarriage just over a year ago on May 25, 2025. She and Hallman also have three boys.

The couple shared a lengthy touching tribute to the child as they wrote: 'Our babygirl was born into the arms of our Father [puppy dog eyes, prayer hands, and white heart emojis] although we will never understand his plans we are thankful that he gives us strength and peace during these hard times. 

'Our babygirl made such an impact in such a small short amount of time & I’m so happy that we got to celebrate every moment with her.'

Mellado and Hallman went on to share their appreciation to their friends and family who have been there to support them and the medical staff at the hospital who allowed them to spend time with their daughter. 

They continued: 'Thank you to our friends and family that have helped us during these times , the wonderful medical staff that let us hold her , dance with her & have her as long as we wanted thank you those moments will be treasured forever [beating heart and white heart emojis] to you guys thank you from the bottom of our heart for helping us celebrate every single moment with her we are forever grateful for your support [beating heart emoji]'

Then the most emotional moment in the lengthy caption was written as the couple addressed their daughter directly. 

Mellado and Hallman wrote: 'to our babygirl Mommy , Daddy & your brothers love you so so much & we can’t wait to see you again babygirl [white heart emoji] I just know you made heaven that much sweeter then it already is. 

'These last couple days have shaped us in ways that we would never imagine , we see her everywhere & we’re so thankful for the signs she continues to send us [butterfly emoji] "Grief has a way of softening you , it teaches you to slow down to be where your feet are , to savor the little moments you once rushed past , to open your heart wider cause now you understand how sacred and fragile life really is. 

'And somehow even through the ache LOVE remains , Forever together just in a different way now [white heart emoji]"

As the two were baptized last month, the two concluded the heartbreaking message with religious messages of hope. 

They wrote: '"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

'God we trust your plans [butterfly, puppy dog eyes, and beating heart emojis]'

Several of the couple's influencer friends including Bretman Rock, Catherine Paiz, and Les Do Makeup shared heartfelt messages and condolences in the comments section of the post.

Mellado is primarily known for being a fashion designer and blogger as she often shares vlogs centered around family life on their LVE Family YouTube Channel.

She also is the owner of successful online clothing retailer, Laura's Boutique, alongside her mother who is also named Laura.

Hallman is also a YouTube vlogger and does Instagram and TikTok content.

Three weeks ago, the family hosted a baby shower and back in January they announced that Mellado was pregnant with their rainbow baby.
