What a Darling response.
Wildly popular influencer Damon Darling has said he still loves Walmart despite getting a lifetime ban — begging his followers not to boycott the chain he hopes to go into business with.
“I do wanna make it clear that I don’t have any beef with Walmart,” Darling said in a video Wednesday — telling his more than 10 million followers to do the same.
“I don’t want you guys to have any beef with Walmart. If you were shopping at Walmart, continue to shop at Walmart,” urged the influencer known for acts of kindness, like buying hard-up strangers’ groceries.
“I love Walmart.”
Darling had posted video on Sunday showing him being kicked out of an Ohio Walmart and then told he was banned for life from all its stores — despite him telling the staffer, “I’m just buying people’s groceries!”
Walmart only said in a statement that Darling “has repeatedly violated our policies through disruptive behavior and trespassing, unrelated to any charitable giving,” without stating exactly what he had done to deserve the full ban.
The influencer — who occasionally pulls pranks, staging falls and dousing himself in milk, along with his best-known content of random acts of kindness — appeared to accept he had overstepped the mark at times.
“I understand that they have their policies. I want to respect their policies,” he said. “I love Walmart still and I respect them. I’m sorry.”
Darling also made clear that his dreams go way further than just getting over the ban.
“I wanna reconcile. I would love to work with Walmart,” he said in the video, saying his “dream” was to get his Meemaw Coffee product onto the superstore chain’s shelves.
While Darling encouraged his followers not to boycott the retailer — asking them to instead ask, “Will you please give Damon a second chance?” — many were not keen on such an act of kidness.
“Too late. We beefin at $3.89/lb” one fan said, while another added: “I am on a Walmart ban until you are allowed back.”
“Nah, Walmart is wrong. And we’re p—-d about it,” a third follower stated.
Walmart has not responded to The Post’s latest request for comment.
