Inside Lady Gaga’s first months of motherhood — and how she plans to raise daughter Rose ‘away from the attention’

Lady Gaga is enjoying a little less applause and a lot more lullabies these days.

The pop superstar and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, have been settling into life with their daughter, Rose, while doing everything they can to give her as normal a childhood as possible, a source exclusively told Page Six.

“Gaga and Michael have really been enjoying their little family bubble,” the insider said. “They’ve started taking Rose on little outings together, but for the most part, they’re keeping things very private.”

The “Born This Way” singer, 40, is “fiercely protective of her daughter and very particular about who she allows into their inner circle and around the baby,” the source said.

According to the insider, the Oscar winner has “always valued her privacy, but that’s taken on a whole new level now that she’s a mom.”

“She wants Rose to have as normal a childhood as possible, away from all the attention that comes with her fame.”

“Gaga has always been such a strong, powerful woman, but becoming a mom has brought out this incredibly soft, emotional side of her,” the source said. “She’s embracing every moment of it, and the people closest to her can see just how much this new chapter means to her.”

After years of commanding the stage, Gaga is now embracing a much quieter life at home with her daughter.

“She’s loving the quieter moments at home and just getting to spend time with her daughter,” the insider explained. “She’s spent so much of her life working and being in the spotlight, so having this time to focus on her family has been incredibly special.”

Gaga’s rep did not respond to Page Six’s request for comment. To date, neither Gaga nor her representatives have made any official announcement confirming she is a mother, whether the baby was born via surrogate or the baby’s name or gender.

Page Six broke the news on Sept. 11 that Gaga and Polansky welcomed their first child together.

The couple were also spotted for the first time with their newborn during an outing in Northern California.

In photos exclusively obtained by Page Six, the Oscar winner was seen carrying the infant close to her chest as she took a stroll alongside the entrepreneur.

As previously reported, Gaga was determined to be involved in every step of the surrogacy process as she embarked on her journey to motherhood.

“This has been a very long and emotional process for Gaga,” a source previously told Page Six. “There have been a lot of ups and downs along the way, and it certainly didn’t happen overnight.”

“There were so many appointments, meetings and logistics involved, and she was incredibly hands-on throughout the entire surrogacy process,” the insider said. “She was very involved with her surrogate and wanted to be part of every step of the pregnancy.”

According to the source, it was “really important” that the “Poker Face” singer “have that connection with the woman carrying her daughter and to be involved as much as possible.”

“After everything she’d been through trying to become a mother, she didn’t want to miss a single moment,” the insider said. “Having someone she could trust throughout the pregnancy meant everything to her.”
