An estranged billionaire couple's 50,000-square-foot Los Angeles estate is slated to go on the market soon as their bitter divorce fight comes to an end.

Tony Pritzker, son of Hyatt hotel chain co-founder Donald Pritzker and brother of Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker divorced philanthropist Jeanne Pritzker earlier this year.

Tony and Jeanne married on July 29, 1989 and have been separated since September 2022.

The pair jointly signed a premarital agreement just one week before their wedding, wherein 'all earnings by the parties during their marriage are the separate property of the earning party' and that 'certain joint property shall be divided equally between the couple', documents claim.

The couple, both in their 60s, spent years building their gated Pritzker estate on Angelo Drive in the exclusive Beverly Hills Post Office area - which is expected to be priced anywhere between $150 million and $200 million.

The couple, both in their 60s, spent years building their gated Pritzker estate on Angelo Drive in the exclusive Beverly Hills Post Office area - which is expected to be priced anywhere between $150 million and $200 million

The Pritzker Estate boasts an impressive 60-car parking lot, 12 to 15 bedrooms, game room, bowling alley, library, fitness room, gymnasium, spa, tennis court, beauty salon and a pool all split between two subterranean levels and a two-story house.

The sprawling estate is now ranked the third largest residential property in Los Angeles, behind  'The One' completed in 2020 and the infamous 'Manor', built by Aaron Spelling on property previously owned by Bing Crosby.

Real-estate agent Rayni Williams also noted that the property has one of the best views in all of the city.

When the couple first separated two years ago, the estate quickly became a linchpin in their divorce proceedings.

Jeanne reportedly refused to acknowledge the prenup as valid and enforceable, claiming that she was forced to sign under duress.

Tony and Jeanne also share six children together, including now 16-year-old twins who are subject to the court's child support and custody orders.

She also insisted on maintaining her residence at the property and using it for philanthropic events while the billionaire heir wished to sell.

According to court documents, while Jeanne was allowed to remain in the house, she was soon informed that the entire estate was owned by a complex web of trusts and limited liability companies rather than the couple itself.

Since she was not a member of the trust, Jeanne wasn't entitled to live in the house.

Divorce lawyer Joshua Forman of Chemtob Moss Forman & Beyda explained that in this case, if the funds to build the Pritzker estate came from pre-existing family trusts and not from money Tony made during their marriage, Jeanne would have no right to the home based on their agreement.

However, assets transferred into a family trust during the marriage could be considered community property, according to the Wall Street Journal

Apart from this mammoth property, the couple also owned at least 13 cars and about $3.8 million worth of fine art and wine. Jeanne also had $7.1 million worth of jewelry.

They also own a a villa in Phuket, Thailand, and a compound on about 9 acres of land in Topanga near Malibu.

In 2021, the pair bought a house in Los Cabos, Mexico which was valued at about $5.35 million.

In 2022, prior to the split from Jeanne, Tony used LLCs to buy a pair of Manhattan penthouses from musician John Legend and his wife, model Chrissy Teigen, for $16.75 million.

In 2023, he used another entity to pay $12.5 million for the Garcia House, a Los Angeles home designed in the early 1960s by the famed architect John Lautner, for the couple’s adult son Nicholas.

In the couple’s divorce judgment, Tony’s income was estimated at approximately $13 million a year - which Jeanne claims she was never made privy to

The ex-wife, who reportedly gave up a career in investment banking to take care of their kids, also had many of her repair requests for the estate denied by the trust.

The rejected requests include $137,380 to repair blown outdoor speakers, $28,902 to replace a broken TV in the gym, $10,050 for a new dog run and roughly $10,000 for a magnetic lock for the craft room, according to divorce filings.

Ultimately in April 2024, the couple reached a preliminary settlement and Jeanne moved out of the mansion.

The property is now being readied for sale although it remains unclear which of LA's brokers will handle the listing.

Tony and Jeanne share six children together, including 16-year-old twins who are subject to the court's child support and custody orders.

They have both agreed to 50/50 custody of the twins, according to legal filings.
