She managed to wring two albums and two films out of her on-off relationship with Ben Affleck, so perhaps the obvious next step for Jennifer Lopez would be to afford her messy and highly-publicized divorce the same artistic treatment.

After all, introspective songs about her personal life have long been JLo's signature.

But sources now tell the Daily Mail that Jenny from the Block is breaking with tradition – and might inadvertently exact the ultimate 'revenge' on ex-husband Ben by wiping him from her next album altogether.

The couple's notoriously tempestuous relationship has had countless twists and turns – from meeting and getting engaged in 2003 to calling off the wedding in 2004, then finally marrying in 2022 and divorcing last year.

Now Lopez, 55, is said to be hunting for singles about 'strength, courage and perseverance' because after two failed attempts at love with the famously grumpy actor, 52, she is finally 'good and in a great place'.

'Jennifer wanted to settle the divorce quickly,' one insider told the Daily Mail. 'She didn't want to spend the year fighting Ben because this is now her time to reconnect with fans and thrive post-divorce.

'People close to her feel this will be her version of Beyonce's Lemonade [about husband Jay-Z's infidelity]. She's working closely with manager Benny Medina to create the perfect comeback. She would like to tour again in 2026.'

The hunt for new music kicked off in January when Sony/ATV and Warner Chappell sent out requests for songs.

The Daily Mail can reveal that Amy Allen, Amy Wadge, David Guetta and even Ed Sheeran are currently 'in the creative process' with Lopez, who will perform at the World Pride Music Festival in Washington, DC, in June.

Raye has also sent in three tracks for consideration.

The British singer co-wrote 'Dear Ben, Pt. II' on Lopez's last album This is Me… Now - a nod to her 2002 album This is Me… Then, about her early high-profile romance with the star.

This is Me… Now debuted at number 38 on the Billboard 200, marking the first time Lopez had missed out on the top 20. Her accompanying tour was then scrapped amid reports of struggling ticket sales, with a statement claiming she was 'taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends'.

The album was one of three projects, including an accompanying musical film This Is Me… Now: A Love Story and documentary The Greatest Love Story Never Told, which chronicled her troubled romance with double Oscar-winner Affleck.

Reuniting nearly 17 years after calling off their original engagement, 'Bennifer' exchanged vows at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas on July 16, 2022.

But hopes of their union lasting crumbled when the frequently papped pair went 47 days without being spotted together in the first half of last year.

Affleck then moved out of the $68 million Beverly Hills home they had bought together and into a $100,000-a-month Brentwood rental – just two blocks away from his 2005-2018 wife Jennifer Garner and their three children.

Garner, 52, reportedly stepped in as a 'mediator' to assist Affleck with his deteriorating marriage. But her efforts were in vain, with Lopez filing for divorce in August and restoring her former name: Jennifer Lynn Lopez.

The Daily Mail can reveal that Amy Allen, Amy Wadge, David Guetta and even Ed Sheeran (pictured with Guetta, left) are currently 'in the creative process' with Lopez, who will perform at the World Pride Music Festival in Washington, DC, in June.

It is now perhaps a case of 'Affleck who?' – because Lopez is also expanding her acting portfolio.

She is currently filming Office Romance in New Jersey with Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein following the release of her new musical film Kiss Of The Spider Woman, which she also helped produce with Affleck.

'She is living her best life at the moment,' a second insider said. 'She is good, and in a great place.'

When she's not working, sources say she has picked up horse riding at her $21 million home in LA's exclusive Hidden Hills neighborhood.

She moved into the sprawling 2.5-acre estate – complete with a riding arena – earlier this year with her 17-year-old twins Max and Emme to ex-husband Marc Anthony, to whom JLo was married between 2004 and 2014.

'Jennifer is focused on spending more time with her kids at their new home, riding horses, attending school plays, going to the theatre and focusing on her work opportunities,' said our insider.

Sources tell us Lopez is finally feeling 'happy' and isn't interested in getting 'revenge' on Affleck, but with a slew of exciting projects on the horizon they add that it wouldn't hurt to show him what he's missing.
