Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani held a meeting in Tehran on Wednesday.
Heading a diplomatic delegation, the Qatari minister has visited Iran to discuss the bilateral relations and the delicate developments in the region.
The two senior diplomats emphasized the need for efforts to end the Israeli genocidal crimes in Gaza and halt the regime’s acts of aggression against Lebanon.
They also weighed plans for closer consultations and mobilization of all regional and international capacities to prevent the spread of insecurity in the region.
The Iranian and Qatari ministers also called for the promotion of cooperation between Tehran and Doha in all fields.
