The exercises began on Thursday morning across various operational sites in Khuzestan.

The first phase featured tactical maneuvers, passive defense strategies, and rescue operations under challenging conditions.

Friday marked the start of the second phase, with high-ranking officials, including commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Major General Hossein Salami, attending alongside other commanders and provincial representatives.

Speaking during the drills in Ahvaz, the IRGC commander assured the Iranian people of the country's determination. "The Iranian people can rest assured that we will take our revenge on Israel," he declared.

Salami described Israel as "a foreign dagger embedded in the heart of Muslims" that must be removed, asserting that injustice cannot persist indefinitely.

"History shows that no tyrant escapes disgrace, and the same fate awaits the Zionists," he stated.

He emphasized that the key to Israel’s eventual downfall lies in the unity of Muslim nations, calling for collective action to eradicate the "source of corruption."

"The continuation of this conflict will only lead to Israel's destruction," Salami affirmed.

Approximately 250 Basij battalions are participating in the drills.

The operations align with guidance from Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, emphasizing the importance of strengthening Iran’s military capabilities.

The drills aim to enhance the Basij forces’ preparedness for potential real-world scenarios and maintain combat readiness. Participants conducted military parades and displayed various IRGC military hardware, including armored vehicles and combat drones.

These annual exercises, held in different regions of Iran, are part of efforts to bolster the Basij forces' ability to counter potential threats to the nation.
