Despite only being released on February 26, the online horror co-op adventure R.E.P.O. has been met with tons of love. The game ranks as overwhelmingly positive on Steam and consistently has over 50,000 players diving into its terrifying locations.
Unfortunately, the game’s only available on PC, with no word being given regarding a future console release. That being said, one new game has quietly appeared on the PlayStation store bringing hope to fans looking to dive in.
Known as R.E.P.O. Ghost Haul, the game quickly shot up to number one on the PS Store charts with many assuming this was the console version finally making an appearance. But don’t be fooled, as it’s not quite what it seems.
R.E.P.O. Ghost Haul explained
Unfortunately, R.E.P.O. Ghost Haul isn’t a real game. Instead, it’s a scam designed to trick players into signing up for a fake horror adventure.
All Ghost Haul serves to be is an unofficial clone of the real game, bringing the same description and cover image as R.E.P.O. but likely offering nothing of the sort, or granting players a ripped-off version of the PC game.

It’s important to note that no console version has been announced, and when it does, it’ll be published by the official developers, semiworks. If you’re in doubt, check the game’s publishers and look out for any trailers or gameplay screenshots. If there are none, like Ghost Haul, then it’s likely to be a fake.
Ultimately, R.E.P.O. is still in early access, so there’s always a chance it’ll come over to consoles soon, but when it does, players can expect some extra promoting from semiworks, rather than shadowdropping it onto the PlayStation Store.
