Donald Trump plans on shaking things up in the D.C. Swamp during his second term as president. His cabinet picks are an early indication he means business. One of his most controversial picks is former Florida Congressman and looming rabble rouser Matt Gaetz, who Trump has nominated for U.S. Attorney General. The nomination has triggered screeching and gnashing of teeth on Capitol Hill, as well as the resurgence of allegations against Gaetz that include statutory rape. We look at the allegations against Gaetz, his response to them, and the broader issue of what’s at stake.
