Israel to shut embassy in Ireland over 'extreme anti-Israel policies'

Dec 15 (Reuters) - Israel said on Sunday it would close its Dublin embassy due to the Irish government's "extreme anti-Israel policies" including recognition of a Palestinian state and support for international legal action against its war in Gaza.

FYI, Moldova has recognized Israel since it left the USSR over 30 years ago; Israel is opening a new embassy in Chisinau. (FD: Balti, the second largest city, is our sister city.)
