The latest casualties bring the total death toll since the start of hostilities 13 months ago to 43,764, with approximately 103,490 injured during the ongoing assault.
"Israeli forces killed 28 people and injured 120 others in three massacres of families in the last 24 hours," the ministry said.
"Many people are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them," it added.
Despite a United Nations Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire, Israel has continued its offensive in Gaza.
The Israeli genocidal war has led to nearly the entire population of Gaza being displaced, compounded by a blockade causing severe shortages of food, clean water, and medicine.
International mediation efforts have failed to broker a ceasefire and prisoner swap between Israel and Hamas.
Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu's firm stance against halting the war has been a key obstacle.
Meanwhile, Israel faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice over its actions in Gaza.
