Ivanka Trump has revealed the one thing that she wishes her parents Donald Trump and Ivana had told her when she was growing up - and she's not holding back.
The former presidential advisor, 43, made a rare appearance Monday on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast, where she spoke about a wide range of topics.
During the show, hosts Lauryn and Michael Bosstick asked the mom-of-three to talk about some of the best things that she learned from her parents.
Ivanka reminisced about the time spent with her late mom at New York's Plaza Hotel, where she served as the CEO.
'I used to go to her everyday after school, she was the CEO of the Plaza Hotel, the iconic hotel in New York, and I'd go with her on walks, and it was literally like a more well-behaved Eloise at the Plaza,' Ivanka revealed.
'I'd run behind her and watch her do her thing. My father was the same.'
However, she admitted that there was one thing she feels like her parents didn't show her when she was young.
'There was never explicit instruction,' Ivanka shared. 'I kind of wish I'd gotten a little bit of that, sort of sitting me down and saying, "This is how I like to be, this is how I conduct myself, did you notice this?"'

'It was purely observational,' she continued. 'They never jammed it down our throat, you know, come and work with us in this capacity, but if we were curious and if we were interested, they would always want us around.
'I would spend my weekend on construction sites just trialing behind. And you learn a lot by that.'
During the interview, Ivanka also recalled that her mother in particular had an amazing and sharp attention to detail.
She then discussed one visit to see her mom at The Trump Castle, which was a casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey, that she ran.
The heiress said that there were tons of chandeliers hanging from the ceiling in the lobby, and as the two were going down the escalator, Ivana could tell that one lightbulb had gone out without even taking as much as a look at the light fixtures.
'That level of crazy detail was my mother,' Ivanka said.
Tragically, Ivanka's mother passed away on July 14, 2022, at the age of 73 after she suffered a fall at her Upper East Side home.
Donald Trump was married to Ivana from 1977 to 1990, and in addition to Ivanka, they shared two sons together: Donald Jr and Eric.

Ivanka's podcast appearance comes just a few months after a source revealed to DailyMail.com why the shoe designer would no longer play a role during her father's White House administration.
During his last term, Ivanka served as the Advisor to the President, and her husband, Jared Kushner, served as the Senior Advisor.
This time around, however, things will be different.
The source explained that things began to sour for Ivanka after the insurrection on January 6, and after she was subpoenaed during the investigation into the president's efforts to stay in power.
'She felt like she was being asked to reveal something she did not know anything about and she never wants to be in [that] position again,' the source told DailyMail.com.
'Her family means the world to her and she is now focusing on being a mom and other private ventures,' they continued, adding she is 'completely happy where she is in her life.'
'She is perfectly finding handing the reins to Lara [Trump] this time around. Not her circus, not her monkeys.'
Lara, who is married to Ivanka's brother Eric, took on a larger role during Trump's campaign this time around, standing by his side at many rallies.
Lara is also the co-chair of the Republican National Committee.
