Jay Leno appeared to be on the mend as he attended amfAR's inaugural Las Vegas benefit event on Friday after taking a serious tumble.

The 74-year-old former later night host has been seen with a disturbing black and blue bruise on his face in recent days after falling 60 feet down a hill in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Leno seemed to be in good spirits at the affair as he walked the red carpet in a navy blue suit and matching patterned shirt.

The veteran comedian flashed his famous smile and his visage looked significantly less banged up, although he was likely wearing makeup to camouflage the damage.

Speaking to Inside Edition after the incident one week ago, he said, 'I broke my wrist, lost my nail on the finger. I'm all black and blue from 60 feet of hitting rocks.'

Despite the serious fall, the seasoned professional performed a show in Greensburg just hours later.

Jay eventually traveled home to Los Angeles where he performed again on Sunday night.

The Hollywood fixture said earlier this week that he hadn't yet seen a doctor but planned to.

It comes two years after he was badly burned when a vintage 1907 engine he was working on exploded in his face.

At the time, Leno was hospitalized following the fiery explosion at his private garage, where he keeps his vintage car collection.

George Swift, a mechanic in the garage, later told ET that it was a steam car that sent Leno to the hospital.

'It was a steam car. This steam was made by gas. It got sprayed, as a gas,' the car professional said.

'He called me, and he told me there was a fire and the fire department is coming,' the employee added.

Also at Friday evening's star-studded gathering was Sylvester Stallone, 78.

Stallone and Flavin's youngest daughter even brought along boyfriend Louis Masquelier-Page.

In September Sylvester finalized the $24.95 million purchase of an eight-bedroom, nine-bathroom mansion in East Hampton, New York for his daughters, according to the New York Post.

In addition to his daughters, he is also father to two sons with first wife Sasha Czack — Seargeoh, 45, and Sage, who died at 36 of coronary artery disease in July 2012.
