While Vice President JD Vance is on a media tour for his new book “Communion,” the war in Iran is seemingly coming to a close. The way he is handling both is setting the stage for his future in politics.
The Iran War has been unpopular with most Americans. Some are rightly hesitant that it would lead to another endless ground war in the Middle East, while others are worried about the rising gas prices making everyday life less affordable. Regardless, it will be interesting to see how much of an effect the war ends up having on the 2028 Republican presidential primary. If it’s anything like 2016, Americans can assume it will be a top issue.
