Jenni “JWoww” Farley was hospitalized over a “horrible” kidney infection and appendicitis.
The “Jersey Shore” star took to Instagram Thursday and detailed the health scare, which occurred on her children’s first day of school.
“This past week has probably been one of the hardest weeks of my life. I’ve spent every day fighting to get healthy enough to get home to my family while dealing with a horrible kidney infection and appendicitis,” she began in the caption of the post.
The upload showed her two kids getting ready for school in the hospital, with Farley doing her daughter’s hair in a hospital gown.
“I want to say it came out of nowhere, but the truth is, I haven’t felt like myself for months,” she continued. “Weight loss, exhaustion, constantly feeling off… and then last Friday, my body finally said, ‘We aren’t making it like this anymore.’”
The reality star went on to thank the “incredible hospital team” for taking care of her and allowing her to be “healthy enough to have this moment with [her] kids.”
Farley, 41, also thanked her husband, Zack Carpinello, for bringing her kids, Meilani, 12, and Greyson, 10, to the hospital so they could all be together before the milestone.
“We didn’t get the picture in front of the house. We didn’t get the normal first-day morning. We got hospital bracelets, a hospital room, backpacks, hair supplies and a memory I don’t think any of us will ever forget,” she explained.
“Our first-day picture looks a little different this year, but we have one. And right now, I’m incredibly grateful for that. ❤️ Here’s to a new school year. May our kids be safe, successful, and above all else… kind.”
Several of Farley’s “Jersey Shore” co-stars expressed their well wishes in the comments section.
“Oh my mama i love you,” Nicole “Snooki” LaValle wrote, with Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino adding, “Sending prayers of positive energy & healing ❤️🩹 love you and the family.”
Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola commented, “Feel better soon, sending you speedy recovery vibes! Have a wonderful year Meilani & Grey!”
As previously reported, Farley and Carpinello tied the knot in June after seven years together.
Farley went public with her relationship with the pro wrestler in April 2019 — just months after she filed for divorce from ex-husband Roger Mathews.
The former couple — who share Meilani and Greyson — finalized their divorce in August 2019.
The “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” star has successfully blended her family. Her two kids were even included in her June wedding ceremony with special mementos from Carpinello.
