Jennifer Lopez shared she had to 'let go of her ego' to play a wrestler's mother in the new film from her ex Ben Affleck.
There was 'no JLo' at all when she sunk into the character of Judy Robles in the true-life story Unstoppable.
The Bronx-born beauty made the comments when she sat down with a reporter from Amazon/MGM this week. The clip was shared on her Insta Stories on Wednesday.
'It was an honor to be a part of Anthony's story and to play Judy,' said Lopez as she wore a beige suit.
'I approached the role with a complete lack of ego where you have to go in there and have so much respect for the person you are playing because it's her story.
'I disappeared, there was no Jennifer, no JLO - that person on the screen is just Judy,' she added about the role that is garnering her Oscar buzz.
'Luckily I got to spend time with her and see who she was alone and as a mother.'

The movie has been hyped for months.
In the trailer, Lopez is seen as struggling mother Judy Robles of an athlete who won't let his handicap of being born with one leg get in the way.
The movie icon dazzled as she yelled, cried and pulled out some of her Bronx 'tude.
'I am not letting him quit wrestling and I am not letting him quit school,' Lopez screams out to those who don't believe in her son.
'When they see you they don't see someone who is missing a leg, they see someone who is unstoppable. You can show them that anything is possible,' adds scene stealer Lopez.
Jenny From The Block is already garnering Oscar buzz for her performance as she may land in the Best Supporting Actress category.
The movie comes in theaters on December 6 and will be on Prime on January 16.
The sports biopic, produced by Lopez's ex Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, stars Jharrel Jerome as real-life wrestler Anthony Robles, who was born with one leg.

Though Lopez is a major highlight in the film, the lead role is about the wrestler.
He was born in Arizona and wants to become the biggest wrestler in the world.
'Why do you wrestle?' asks Anthony's coach Bobby Williams, played by Michael Peña, in the trailer.
'When people look at me the first thing they see is what's missing,' replies Jerome's Anthony. 'If I win, having one leg won't be the most important thing about me.'
Lopez's ex Affleck has produced with pal Matt Damon for their production company Artists Equity.
The film is directed by William Goldenberg.
