Jennifer Love Hewitt is dispatching a new hair color.
The actress, 47, revealed her Season 10 color for ABC’s “9-1-1” in an Instagram video last week, running her fingers through freshly lightened lengths.
“Season 10 hair ready! Let’s go!” she captioned the clip, tagging her team at Nine Zero One salon in Los Angeles.
In an Instagram Story with colorist Nikki Lee, Hewitt said fans had asked her to stay light after she went honey blond during the show’s hiatus in April.
“We’re keeping the blond — we heard you guys,” she said.
It’s the third color her character, dispatcher Maddie Han, has worn in as many seasons. Hewitt is a natural brunette who went copper in May 2025, a shade Lee christened “Sunset Lover,” and she wore it on the red carpet for the Los Angeles premiere of “I Know What You Did Last Summer” that July.
Commenters approved of the new bright blond, with one writing, “Gorgeous then, super gorgeous now.” Another added, “You can do no wrong. You’re a badass.”
“You can literally pull off every color,” a third offered.
At least one fan was already writing next season’s arc: “Season 10 Maddie walking in like she’s about to solve three cases and emotionally wreck us in one episode.”
They may not be far off. The Season 9 finale left Maddie with a promotion at the call center, taking over for her boss, Sue, following a stroke.
“9-1-1” returns for its 10th season this fall on ABC.
