Jeremy Clarkson has issued a damning broadside toward US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance for their stance on global politics.
The 64-year-old writer and presenter was incensed by Vance’s disparaging comments towards the UK and France concerning peace keeping troops being sent to Ukraine.concerning peace keeping troops being sent to Ukraine.
Beginning his tirade in The Times, Clarkson reflected on his initial perspective on the US after Trump’s stunning return to the White House.
He recalled liking the “cut of Trump’s jib” in how he aggressively pursued solutions to the transgender sports row, illegal immigration and even the blight of paper straws.

At the time, the 64-year-old mocked celebrities, like actor Robert De Niro, threatening to leave the US after Trump’s victory.
Clarkson even offered to swap homes with De Niro for the duration of Trump’s term, comparing a hypothetical “net-zero, hug-an-immigrant" administration of Kamala Harris as akin to Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s.
However, the former Top Gear presenter’s opinion was changed by the Oval Office fracas between Trump, Vance and Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky.
Clarkson blasted the moment as “despicable.”

He then denounced the US’s apparent overtures towards Russia and denial of military support to Ukraine in the following days - despite previously claiming he would rather have Putin as a leader than Starmer.
Worst of all in Clarkson’s mind was Vance’s slight towards the UK and France, regarding Starmer’s offer to send peacekeeping troops to Ukraine.
While speaking to Fox News, the Vice President claimed the offer merely amounted to “20,000 troops from some random country that hasn't fought a war in 30 or 40 years”.
“Now I don’t want to stoop to his level, but I’m going to,” Clarkson warned by slamming Vance as a “bearded God-botherer".

“I’ve searched for the right word to describe him and I think it’s ‘t**t. He also has no clue about history,” the 64-year-old fumed.
To him, the alleged ignorance from the US leadership was not necessarily a symptom of “handing the reigns” to billionaires – as there were many “kind and normal and philanthropic” wealthy people in the world.
“But there are a few who are s***s, and I suspect that Trump and Elon Musk and Vladimir Putin fall into this category,” the former Top Gear presenter declared.
The 64-year-old suggested the wealth and arrogance of Plutocrats like Trump and the Doge boss had altered how they dealt with those below them, and now that “warped logic” was being applied to global affairs.
As a result, Clarkson despaired: "There’s a maniacal bully in the White House, a killer in the Kremlin and Nato is on the brink of collapse."
Even with the lack of "Churchillian vigour" in Britain's leaders to resist this new reality, Clarkson admitted he was going back on his offer to US celebs seeking to flee.
"I’ve decided that I don’t want to live in De Niro’s house. I’m staying in Chipping Norton," Clarkson concluded.
