For those who like to get ahead of the game when it comes to booking their travels, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have announced their first-ever winter sun programme from London Luton Airport for Winter 2025/26.
This marks a milestone for the airline and tour operator as the London-based airport is their newest and 13th UK base.
The programme brings welcome news for holidaymakers across London, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire, who will now have access to winter sun destinations through the leisure airline and UK's largest tour operator.
The winter programme will feature eight sunny destinations across four popular holiday regions.

Mainland Spain will be represented by Alicante, while Turkey's Mediterranean coast is accessible through flights to Antalya.
For those eager to visit Portugal, Portuguese destinations include both mainland Faro and the island of Madeira.
These routes will provide holidaymakers with flexibility and choice when booking their winter sunshine breaks, with both flight-only and package holiday options available.
And for their inaugural winter season at London Luton Airport, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are offering over 140,000 seats for sale.
The programme will feature up to 19 weekly departing flights during peak periods.
Operations will be supported by two brand-new Airbus A321neo aircraft, which will serve both package holidaymakers and leisure flight customers alike.

- Tenerife: Four weekly services (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday) year-round
- Lanzarote: Three weekly services (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday) year-round
- Gran Canaria: Two weekly services (Monday and Friday) year-round
- Fuerteventura: Two weekly services (Wednesday and Sunday) year-round
- Alicante: Two weekly services (Thursday and Sunday) from early November until November 30, 2025, increasing to three weekly services (Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) from 12th February 2026
- Antalya: Weekly Saturday services operating year-round, with additional Wednesday services available between February 18 and March 19 2026
- Faro: Two weekly services (Monday and Friday) operating until November 3, 2025 and restarting again from February 13, 2026
- Madeira: Weekly Monday services year-round

Jet2's announcement comes as the airline rolls out its "unrivalled" Christmas Markets programme for winter 24/25, allowing travellers to explore new destinations.
