Jimmy Kimmel's guest host for the week wondered Monday whether President Donald Trump has started secretly wearing a wig.

Actor Anthony Anderson, 55, aired the theory roughly five minutes into his first day filling in.

Producers had just played a clip of the President sporting a new, fuller hairstyle in Las Vegas last week.

The black-ish star warned how the Wednesday clip 'caused some controversy' – namely, an avalanche of memes.

'I mean, to be honest, I've seen better weaves on Real Housewives of Atlanta,' Anderson quipped.

The comic noted how White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt batted back the social media speculation with the following statement to the Wall Street Journal: 'Lighting is everything.'

'And she’s right. For instance, when you shine a light on the Epstein files, her boss’s name magically disappears,' Anderson riffed, to groans.

'But I don’t think this was the lighting,' he continued.

'I mean, to be honest, I've seen better weaves on Real Housewives of Atlanta ,' Anderson said

'Because I looked it up, and this is real. Trump’s new hairdo looks exactly like the $15 Trump wig you can buy on Amazon.'

Viewers were graced with a glimpse at the actual web page as Anderson offered a couple of parting blows.

'Donald Trump wig for adults and kids, one size fits most.

'I have to say this, though: Kids, if you show up to my door in that wig on Halloween, you ain’t getting sh*t.'

Trump's seemingly brighter, more luscious locks on August 5 spawned several AI-generated items as well.

Many showed the President donning other, over-exaggerated hairstyles.

'Straits of Hairmousse,' one caption read.

Trump's hair appeared noticeably thinner both before and after his appearance at the Red Rock Casino Resort, according to photos.

Trump's hair appeared to return to normal on Monday while signing an executive order in the Oval Office

The 80-year-old commander-in-chief held an afternoon event in the Oval Office Monday, where his hair appeared back to normal.

Photos on August 3 – two days before the event meant to highlight the administration’s economic agenda – showed his hair in a similar state.

Trump has been known to urge interviewers to give his tresses a tug over the years, allowing NBC's Jimmy Fallon to give his hair an on-air tussle back in 2016.

His administration changed a rule that banned certain, strong showerheads in the White House in 2020.

'My hair… has to be perfect,' he said at the time.

When approached by the Daily Mail for comment, a White House spokesperson refuted Anderson's analysis.

'Nobody in their right mind cares what out-of-touch, woke Hollywood celebrities have to say,' spokesman Davis Ingle said.

Anderson has stood in for Kimmel 25 times. He is the show's most recurrent guest host.
