The fame’s going to Jimothy’s head!
Seattle’s superstar mutant raccoon is so wildly beloved that the “pop culture icon” is joining the ranks of celebrities such as LeBron James, Johnny Cash and former President Rutherford B. Haye.
The ultra-viral critter— famous for his bizarre backbone and charming misfit vibes — is getting a special bobblehead from the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
“We’re excited to unveil the first bobblehead of Jimothy, Seattle’s newest hometown hero who has a growing fan base across the nation,” museum CEO Phil Sklar said in a press release.
“This bobblehead will be the perfect way for fans of Jimothy to show off their love and support for the pop culture icon and celebrate ‘Jimothy Summer!’”
Fans of the freaky furball — who suffers from rare short spine syndrome — can buy the figurine on the museum’s website for $30, plus an $8 shipping fee. It depicts him scampering while he looks for “his next adventure in The Emerald City,” the museum said.
Jimothy went viral last week as thrilled Seattle residents shared footage of him running through backyards and onto balconies — then later as an adorably odd baby with his mom.
Fans went wild for the masked underdog, calling him “the most Seattle animal possible” and gushing it’s a “hot Jimothy summer.”
The museum generally decides who’s made into a bobblehead based public demand, historic milestones, viral trends and major sports events.
