Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman summed up Donald Trump's cabinet nominations as 'God-tier level trolling' as a series of announcements from the president-election spark shock and outrage.
This week Trump announced MAGA firebrand Matt Gaetz as his nominee for Attorney General and conservative Fox News TV personality Pete Hegseth his nominee for Defense Secretary.
He also named former Congresswoman and Tulsi Gabbard, accused of spreading Russian disinformation, his pick for Director of National Intelligence.
'I would describe it as God-tier level trolling to just trigger a full-on China syndrome to own the libs in perpetuity,' Fetterman said.

In a separate post, Fetterman wrote on X that there have been 'serious, qualified individuals nominated to posts.'
He noted Senator Marco Rubio for Secretary of State, Congresswoman Elise Stefanik for Ambassador to the UN, and suggested Senator Eric Schmitt as a 'solid choice' for Attorney General.
'Dem opinions on Gaetz aren’t that interesting,' Fetterman wrote.
'The good ones will come from my GOP colleagues to justify a vote for that jerkoff,' he added.

There have been serious, qualified individuals nominated to posts, like Rubio or Stefanik. Eric Schmitt would be a solid choice for AG.
But Dem opinions on Gaetz aren’t that interesting.

Gaetz sparked a meltdown on Capitol Hill when Trump announced he was his pick as top law enforcement officer. The Florida Congressman has long railed against the department he is being tapped to lead.
The House Ethics Committee has been investigating the longtime Trump loyalist for sexual misconduct and illicit drug use. He was also the subject of a Justice Department investigation into sex-trafficking of a minor though charges were never brought.
Gaetz abruptly resigned from Congress Wednesday night after Trump's announcement just days before the House Ethics Committee was set to move forward with its findings.
It's not clear whether the committee could still release its findings since it no longer has jurisdiction over him.
But the Florida congressman's confirmation in the Senate faces an uphill battle.
Republican Senator Susan Collins said she would oppose his confirmation. Senator Lisa Murkowski said she does not think Gaetz is a serious nomination and she is looking forward to a serious one.

Senator Markwayne Mullin, who once slammed Gaetz claiming he had seen the videos the Florida congressman was showing of 'girls' he slept with, said the nominee would have to come to the Senate and sell himself on the job.
But others on the hill defended the choice right out of the gate. Senator Tommy Tuberville claimed Trump had a mandate from voters and threatened senators to confirm his nominees or face primary efforts to unseat them.
