Grace Jabbari, the ex-girlfriend of Jonathan Majors, has settled a lawsuit against him.
Attorneys for Jabbari, a British dancer, dismissed a federal lawsuit she had filed against the 35-year-old actor on Thursday, according to Variety.
The settlement comes nearly a year after Majors was convicted of two misdemeanor counts in December for assaulting Jabbari.
Prior to the assault, Majors' career had been on an upswing, and he had secured a role as the title villain in Marvel's Kang Dynasty, but the studio dropped him after his conviction and canceled plans for the film.
Brittany Henderson, one of of her lawyers, said the case had been settled “'favorably.'
He got good news on the legal front just days after he revealed he had gotten engaged to Meagan Good during the couple's joint appearance at the 2024 Ebony Power 100 on Sunday.
Neither Majors nor Jabbari have commented on the dismissal.

also accused him of defamation in response to a post-conviction interview from January on Good Morning America, in which he said he had 'never laid [his] hands on a woman.'
He made the statement despite having been convicted in a court of law for assaulting Jabbari in the back seat of an SUV.

The judge overseeing the case also required him to continue attending therapy sessions.
According to Variety, attorneys for both Jabbari and Majors filed a joint notice with the court to dismiss the case.
'All claims against Defendant in the above-captioned action are hereby dismissed with prejudice,' they wrote.
During Majors' domestic violence trial, Jabbari testified that he had been controlling and manipulative during their relationship.

She accused him of having angry outburst at home in which he would break household items by throwing them at the walls.
Jabbari also claimed that Majors tried to control who she was allowed to spend time with socially.
She alleged that the actor was so volatile after their arguments that he would threaten to kill himself.
Prior to the assault, Majors had starred in the acclaimed drama Magazine Dreams, which received strong reviews after its Sundance Film Festival premiere.
However, its December 2023 release was delayed after Searchlight Features dropped the film in the wake of the assault.
After the rights were returned to the filmmakers, the movie was sold to Briarcliff Entertainment, which will reportedly release it in early 2025.
