Holistic tech wizard Joshua Hale recently joined the Health Ranger Mike Adams and Todd Pitner on "Decentralize.TV" to discuss why having decentralized artificial intelligence (AI) systems is important.
Hale, the owner of JH Media & Consulting LLC, explained that people who are doing their own research shouldn't use OpenAI's ChatGPT or the other language learning models (LLMs) as they only spew out biased information. Fortunately, there are decentralized AI solutions out there and people need to educate themselves to see how to use it for good.
Decentralized AI systems such as the Neo LLM, available at Brighteon.ai, would enable people to have localized AI. These localized AI systems would also help people defend themselves from the larger and centralized AI system.
Adams agreed with his guest, noting that ChatGPT is now controlled by the government. Mainstream LLMs are now undergoing government censorship, especially when it comes to issues that many people feel very passionate about like vaccines, war, politics, religion, among others. These engines only reflect controlled narratives which is not often the truth.
According to Hale, people are already experiencing the real dangers of AI. Governments and political figures are already using biased AI systems to control and influence the minds of people. Moreover, AI is already being used for surveillance.
"We got some serious areas that we should be warning people about. All the way to the centralization power of these AI systems themselves," he said.
"So there is plenty of concern around AI. I just know that the way out of this is being able to keep the power of AI on an individual level so that it doesn't become a class thing. It doesn't become just the elite can have access to this power."
People could use AI to protect their freedoms and rights
Hale continued that decentralized AI systems at the hands of every person can self-regulate and provide solutions to combat every level of bottlenecks of control, as well as fact check and get information that they can trust. Adams agreed, adding that people could actually use AI technology to protect their freedoms and rights.
People are going to have more advanced and competent decentralized AI systems next year, according to Hale. Preparing these decentralized AI systems is going to help people defend themselves from the decaying AI systems around them. "People need to start developing the routes to these AI systems and gradually be able to have both private and online personalities so they can still benefit from online use," Hale said.
The technology integrator reiterated that AI is already here, and it is being rolled out in all areas of human online experience. Given that the rest of the world is adopting AI and automation, Hale remarked that robots – including humanoid ones – are coming. People trying to stop progress really brings in a complicated scenario, and stopping progress isn't the best thing to do. Instead of demonizing AI, they should educate and empower themselves on how they are going to be able to navigate these new technologies.
"So, develop those skills, be in tune with yourself and have your strong ethical stance to be able to navigate this rapidly advancing future we're all being thrown into," Hale concluded.
