This is fantastic! Justice for Daniel Penny has arrived!

It will be interesting to see if we hear from the jurors.

Glad to hear it. But how do they deliberate for four days and deadlock on the reckless charge but decide so quickly on the negligent charge?

Great News!!!!

Here come the riots.

Now that is one weird outcome.

Why not just declare him not guilty of the first and more serious charge.

I guess the judge did the right thing, sending them back to do their job.

Hopefully they saw through the corrupt judge almost going for a directed verdict.

Evidently enough of the jurors have themselves wished someone would stop the violence on subways.

There was talk this weekend of Trump pardoning him if he was sentenced. I’m happy they let him go. He’s not a killer but a hero.

Sort of ... he spent bucketloads of money defending himself against spurious charges. The prosecutor ... and his boss ... should be flogged, and then pilloried in Times Square where passers-by can pelt them with rocks and garbage.
