Elden Ring streamer Jynxzi wiped his entire run seconds after beating the game by clicking yes twice through two prompts he never once read.

The credits had just rolled on day 6 of his self-declared “I will not quit” marathon, 112,000 viewers watching live, run complete. He sat down at the Roundtable Hold grace site, saw a dialog box, clicked yes, saw another, clicked yes again, and found himself back in the opening field of Limgrave wondering where everything had gone.

Jynxzi survived 1,316 deaths in Elden Ring only to be killed by a prompt

After 127 hours, 1,316 deaths, and 23 bosses including Malenia, Elden Ring quietly placed two confirmation screens in front of Jynxzi asking whether he wanted to reset the world and begin a new journey.

Both warned him, and the chat did their best to shake the words into him, but he cleared them without reading a word, and sent himself straight back to the start of the Lands Between. That’s when he told his chat: “ITS ALL GONE. I clicked yes two times and didn’t read and I lost all my progress.”

The panic dissolved when viewers pointed out his gear was intact and his level hadn’t moved. He hadn’t wiped anything, he’d just launched New Game Plus, which carries over everything except the world state, so he was back in Limgrave with all his items and none of his bosses.

A friend offered to help sort it off-stream, and Jynxzi landed on the only conclusion available to him: “At the end of the day, I don’t care, cuz I beat Elden Ring.”

The comments were considerably less at peace with it. “The real final boss was reading two sentences,” one viewer wrote, while another called it “the karma of spamming nothing but moonveil for 128 hours straight.”

This was Jynxzi’s third attempt at the game, after quitting his first marathon at 49 hours and spending 2024 fielding accusations from Kai Cenat that his YouTube completion was faked.
