Sirens and car alarms interrupted Kamala Harris just moments into her closing argument speech of the 2024 presidential election.
The embarrassing moment for the vice president was gleefully clipped out and made viral by the official War Room account for former President Donald Trump's campaign.
'Just a few seconds in and Kamala's already getting drowned out by sirens,' the account boasted on X.
Harris walked out on stage to applause and cheers from the crowd of 75,000 people that filled the Ellipse, a section of the National Mall that features the White House as its backdrop. But as she opened her speech, the sirens began blaring.
'So, listen, one week from today, you will have the chance to make a decision that directly impacts your life, the life of your family and the future of this country we love,' she told supporters over the deafening roar.

Trump fans were quick to joke about the unfortunate event, using it as an opportunity to attack her with just seven days from Election Day.
'I’d rather listen to the high pitch of the sirens any day of the week,' one person wrote.
'Get used to that sound if kamala wins!' another person wrote, seemingly implying that crime will spike if she is elected.
'Sirens warning us all about how bats**t crazy she is,' a third wrote.
Harris' crucial last pitch to voters was delivered from the same spot Trump spoke at on January 6, 2021, when he encouraged his supporters to march on the Capitol to overturn the 2020 election results.
The striking contrast in images is what Harris' campaign was going for, saying they picked they location deliberately.
'Donald Trump sat in the White House, watching as the violence unfolded on television,' Harris said.
'He was told by his staff that the mob wanted to kill his own vice president and Donald Trump responded with two words: so what?
'And that's who is asking you to give him another four years in the Oval Office?'

However, Harris' speech wasn't just marred by the momentary distraction of what appeared to be police sirens.
While there were plenty of enthusiastic supporters in the vast crowd - with many of them holding signs proclaiming they were first-time voters - there were also some interruptions from pro-Palestine protestors.
Some of them were pictured climbing a fence near the National Mall. They were displaying signs and posters with a variety of messages, including, 'Free all Palestinians' and 'stop arming Israel.'
Gaza demonstrators have become commonplace at Harris rallies, often yelling out their disapproval of the ongoing war Israel is prosecuting against Hamas.
At a Michigan rally on Saturday that featured former First Lady Michelle Obama, Harris' opening salvo was derailed by chants of 'no more Gaza war' from a member of the audience.
Harris paused for a moment as the crowd booed, then said: 'On the topic of Gaza, we must end that war.'
Her comment came in a state where Trump received the endorsements of Muslim leaders in a rally.

Tuesday's rally in front of the White House wasn't too focused on foreign policy.
Instead, Harris hammered home talking points about Trump being 'petty tyrant' obsessed with 'revenge' and 'grievance.'
She mentioned the former president's name 24 times and attacked him from the start, criticizing him for his response to the insurrection on January 6th.
Harris also tried tackling the area where she is most politically vulnerable: border security.
Trump and Republicans have attacked her repeatedly on the migration issue.
In her remarks, she pledged to remove illegal migrants who came to the country unlawfully if she becomes president.
'When I am president, we will quickly remove those who arrive here unlawfully, prosecute the cartels and give border patrol the support that they so desperately need,' Harris said.
She repeated her pledge to pass a border security bill that was killed in Congress earlier this year after Trump encouraged Republicans to do so.
Harris' closing rally focused squarely on her opponent: Donald Trump
She attempted to differentiate herself by saying she would be a bipartisan president and would listen to experts on issues
Some supporters reported that the line for the rally stretched all the way to the Tidal Basin - a little more than half a mile away
'I will work with Democrats and Republicans to work on the border security bill Donald Trump killed,' she said.
She also noted: 'At the same time, we must acknowledge we are a nation of immigrants. And I will work with congress to pass immigration reform, including an earned path to citizenship for hardworking immigrants like farmworkers.'
Her speech also touched on notes of her early career as a prosecutor before making it clear that she is not Trump and that she will offer a different path forward.
'I am not looking to score political points. I am looking to make progress. I pledge to listen to experts, to those who will be impacted by the decisions I make,' she noted.
'And two people who disagree with me - unlike Donald Trump - I don't believe people who disagree with me are the enemy. He wants to put them in jail I'll give them a seat at the table.'
Harris called on the country to reject 'the schemes of wannabe dictators' and to 'start writing the next chapter in the most extraordinary story ever told.'
'I pledge to be a president for all Americans,' she vowed.

Thick bullet proof glass stood in front and to the sides of where Harris spoke.
Helicopters buzzed overhead as it got closer to the vice president's arrival.
Security was seen on the roof of nearby buildings. Snipers were also on the look out.
But once attendees made it onto the Ellipse, they were greeted with a party-like atmosphere, where Pretty Tammi the DJ - dressed in Harris' sorority colors - was blasting modern hits, including from singer and actress Jennifer Lopez.
Now J. Lo will be appearing alongside Harris at her Thursday night rally in Las Vegas.
Harris supporters waved American flags as the crowd stretched outside the perimeter, across Constitution Ave and up on the grounds of the National Mall, surrounding the Washington Monument.
