Kate Upton has clarified that an 'emergency situation' she posted about on Instagram last month wasn't about her husband, Justin Verlander.
In the original post, Upton, 32, alarmed her fans when she went on a rant about a 'drunk and high' father who was travelling alone with his 10-year-old daughter and carrying a weapon.
Some fans mistakenly assumed that the Sports Illustrated model was referring to Verlander and their daughter, Genevieve.
However, Upton finally clarified on Monday that this wasn't the case.
'I know many of you have been concerned,' she wrote. 'But, a few people mistakenly thought that the situation involved my husband.'
She continued, 'To clarify: We do not have a 10-year-old. Our daughter is 6, and Justin would never put her in such a terrifying or life-threatening situation.
'He is a wonderful father whose unwavering priority is ensuring our daughter is safe, loved, and protected every single day.'
Upton went on to say that she was referring to a relative and that she and her husband were doing everything that they could to protect them.

The model alarmed her followers last month when she shared an anonymous story on Instagram about the troubling situation.
'Truly asking... lawyers/judges/advocates/law enforcement/parents:' she wrote.
'A dad, recently out of rehab, is traveling alone with his 10-year-old daughter. He gets drunk and high on pills, says he has a gun on him and threatens to SHOOT the taxi driver if he does NOT drop them of on the highway at midnight to walk home,' Upton continued.
'Thankfully, the taxi driver refuses and would rather be shot than drop the little girl off on the highway.'
She then asked her followers: 'Is this an emergency? A Crime? Would you be scared for your child?'
Upton, the host of Hulu's Dress My Tour, has made a name for herself as one of the most in-demand models in the world.
She has mostly stayed away from controversy following the backlash she received over her contract with Canadian Goose in 2019.
The company was accused of animal cruelty for using real coyote fur and goose feathers for its products, and Upton was singled out by animal rights activists.

They tied the knot just a few days after the pitcher led the Astros to a World Series victory.
The pair are the parents of six-year-old daughter Genevieve 'Vivi' Upton Verlander.
Upton was recently a guest on Dreamworks Gabby and Friends, getting crafty with Laila Lockhart Kraner's Gabby Girl.
She is also the co-owner of Vosa Spirits, which makes canned vodka cocktails in a variety of flavors.
