Kayla Nicole might not be a Kansas City Chiefs fan anymore but that didn’t stop her from singing the praises of the team — and ex Travis Kelce.

On Monday’s episode of the “I Am Athlete” podcast, Nicole discussed the outcomes from the divisional round of the playoffs — including the Chiefs’ win over the Houston Texans and the Baltimore Ravens’ heartbreaking loss to the Buffalo Bills, which ended dramatically after tight end Mark Andrews dropped a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter.

“They have guys they can throw the ball to who aren’t going to drop the ball in the end zone,” Nicole said of the Missouri-based team, seemingly shading Andrews.

“Travis Kelce — that’s a tight end that’s not gonna do it,” she added.

However, Nicole noted that Kelce isn’t the Chiefs’ only weapon — and explained why she believes they’ll make it to the Super Bowl for the third time in a row.

“They’ve got the threats, so, as much as I’d love to see somebody else in the Super Bowl, just to see something new, it’s not gonna happen,” she said.

Nicole said she would “love” to see Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills pull off the upset on Sunday because she — and most NFL fans — are “bored” of seeing the Chiefs advance.

The “Special Forces” star had a front-row seat to the Chiefs’ dynasty while dating Kelce, 35, on and off from 2017 until 2022.

When asked what makes the team “so dynamic,” Nicole pointed to coach Andy Reid, quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the “crazy energy” environment at Arrowhead Stadium.

“It’s the loudest stadium in the league,” she said.

“I think Patrick, too, is just a seasoned vet at this point. There’s no panic. There’s no sudden decisions,” she said. “Like this is a well-thought-out offense. He studies the game like nobody else … that’s all he does. He is a student of the game.”

When her co-hosts jokingly asked how she had so much intel, the influencer joked, “I know somebody on the inside.”

While Nicole has yet to publicly date someone since her split from Kelce, the NFL star moved on with Taylor Swift in July 2023.

The sports reporter has been very outspoken about how the pair’s headline-making romance has impacted her over the last year and a half.

During a recent confessional on the Fox reality series, Nicole admitted that “going through a public breakup” was really “overwhelming.”

“I’ve never experienced anything like it,” she shared, adding that she has been “reduced to a headline to something so small as someone’s ex-girlfriend.”

The Tribe Therepē founder said got “a lot of s–t” online because Kelce began dating “such a mega-superstar” — who she admittedly “liked” and thought was “very talented.”

Despite backlash from trolls, Nicole said she was excited to show the world her “raw, vulnerable” side on “Special Forces.”
