Keith Urban is reportedly singing a different tune about Nicole Kidman’s rumored new romance.
Despite a recent report claiming the country star was “absolutely devastated” to see his ex-wife cozying up to private equity investor Michael Reinstein, a new source claims Urban is actually “relieved” she has moved on.
The “Blue Ain’t Your Color” singer, 58, was allegedly the one who decided to end his nearly 20-year marriage to Kidman, and had been struggling with guilt over hurting the Oscar winner, according to the Daily Mail.
“Keith was the one who wanted out of the marriage, and he felt guilty about hurting Nicole,” an insider told the outlet.
However, seeing Kidman, 59, seemingly happy with someone new has reportedly lifted a weight off his shoulders.
The source claimed Urban is “relieved that she’s moved on” and that there is “no jealousy” over Reinstein.
A rep for Urban did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
The latest claims paint a dramatically different picture from a report earlier this week that alleged Urban was “absolutely devastated” after seeing photos of Kidman with the businessman.
That insider claimed the Grammy winner had secretly hoped he and the “Big Little Lies” star might eventually reconcile and was crushed to see her with another man.
Kidman sparked romance rumors with Reinstein after the pair were spotted spending time together in Portofino, Italy.
The speculation intensified when Reinstein was later seen picking the actress up from an airport in Los Angeles before the two drove away together in his Ferrari.
Neither Kidman nor Reinstein has publicly confirmed they are dating.
Urban, meanwhile, has faced his own romance rumors since separating from Kidman, including speculation involving country singer Karley Scott Collins and his guitarist Maggie Baugh.
Both women denied being romantically involved with him.
Kidman filed for divorce from Urban in September 2025 after 19 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
Their divorce was finalized in January.
The former couple shares daughters Sunday Rose, 18, and Faith Margaret, 15.
