Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys had a lot of fun with their disguises on “The Americans.”

Russell revealed she and Rhys — who were co-stars on the critically acclaimed FX show before their relationship turned romantic — used to have sneaky sex on set.

“We were falling in love and staying up all night and having sex all the time and just wearing disguises, like, I’m f—ing [in] crazy wigs and wearing pearls,” she recalled during her appearance on Chelsea Handler’s podcast, “Dear Chelsea,” that dropped on Oct. 8.

“When have you ever worn pearls and [been] f—ing in trailers and f—ing everywhere,” she continued. “I mean, it was insanity.”

Russell looked back fondly at the wild time.

“It was so fun and sneaky, and sexy, and so good,” she said.

Russell, 50, and Rhys, 51, started dating in late 2013 after she split from ex-husband, Shane Deary, after nearly seven years of marriage.

The two actors got close while filming “The Americans,” in which they played Soviet KGB intelligence officers posing as an American married couple.

It aired for six seasons, ending in 2018.

During the podcast, the “Felicity” alum talked about why she and her longtime partner — who share a 10-year-old son, Sam — are in no rush to get married after being together for 13 years.

“I’ve had a big party, you know. I get to dress up all the time, and I know for a lot of people, marriage is something different,” Russell explained.

“People used to be married to have a credit card. We can have credit cards now. I don’t need my last name to go away,” she continued.

She also defended Rhys not thanking her during his two acceptance speeches at the 2026 Emmys last month, when he took home the award for lead actor in a limited or anthology series or movie for “The Beast in Me,” as well as the award for lead actor in a comedy series for “Widow’s Bay.”

She revealed that she actually gave him permission to not thank her a few days prior, when he was “so nervous” about potentially having to give a public speech.

“I looked at him a few days before and I said, ‘OK, well, can you articulate what you’re most nervous about?’” she recalled. “And he’s like, ‘Yeah, having to speak.’ And I said, ‘Totally.’ And I said, ‘Take me off your plate. Like, you don’t have to thank me. I know you love me.'”

She added, “I don’t care if you want to thank the dog walker. You do whatever you want to do. That’s your minute. That’s your 45 seconds. So I just said, ‘Take me off your plate.’
