Khloé Kardashian missed her family’s legendary Christmas Eve celebrations for the “first time in a long long time,” she confirmed on Tuesday.
The Good American co-founder, 40, shared the news on her Instagram Story explaining that she would be skipping the festivities because her kids are under the weather.
The reality star shares her two kids — True, 6, and Tatum, 2 — with ex Tristan Thompson.
“Tatum was sick the entire weekend and now my TuTu is sick,” Kardashian said of her kids. “For the first time in a long long time we will miss Christmas Eve 🥹.”
“I feel so terrible for my sick littles,” she continued. “No fun but I pray we are fine for Santa tomorrow!!! ❤️🎄💚.”
Instead, the trio spent the evening watching the stop-motion Christmas animated classic show, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
Although, Khloé and her kids may not have missed the usual over-the-top celebrations because this year the family opted for a more low-key celebration.
Earlier this month, Khloé’s sister Kim shared that the Kardashian/Jenner crew will be “doing a really low-key Christmas Eve party this year.”
The SKIMS founder, 44, explained that there is “a lot of construction going on,” which would make hosting the shindig difficult.
However, she added that the family would still be “dressing up to the nines because that’s what we do.”
Past Christmas soireés have included fake snow for guests to sled down and performances by Sia and Babyface.
The family did throw an epic “Wicked” viewing party in October, which saw Kim’s home decorated in hues of pink and green.
The movie’s stars, Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, were there for the screening and posed with the Kardashian clan and their kids.
