Kim Kardashian is embracing florals for spring.
The “Kardashians” star is getting ready for the warmer weather, showing off a red and white John Galliano floral slip dress on Instagram on Monday.
Kim paired the vintage gown — which hails from the Christian Dior spring/summer 1998 collection — with an extravagant red cape, featuring a matching red floral inner lining and gold tassels around the edges for friend and former Hollywood agent Michael Kives’ birthday party.
Other celebs at the black tie bash included Sara and Erin Foster, jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer and stylist Jamie Mizrahi, who all posed for pics with Kardashian at the event.
Kardashian styled her hair in an ultra-sleek slick back bun, letting her multi-strand red-beaded choker necklace take center stage.
The Skims founder posed and twirled around in her go-to glam makeup for a variety of pictures and videos on Instagram.
On her Instagram Story, Kardashian shared a few snaps of model Yasmeen Ghauri rocking the original look on the 1998 Paris Fashion Week runway.
Just like Kardashian, Ghauri paired the dress with a slicked bun and oversized choker necklace. Rather than a cape, however, the former model covered her arms in gold bangles to match the rings of gold around her neck.
Kardashian wore a Galliano design to the 2024 Met Gala, rocking a corset that cinched her waist to new extremes.
However, on a February episode of Hulu’s “The Kardashians,” she revealed just how uncomfortable the organ-crushing outfit really was.
After the star-studded event, Kardashian began to panic while standing up inside a limo with friend La La Anthony. When Anthony wasn’t able to get the dress off of Kardashian’s body, the star said she felt like she was “literally going to throw up.”
“I am claustrophobic,” she told the cameras in a confessional. “I’ve never felt this way before, where I feel like I can’t breathe.”
She continued, “It’s like I can handle it for so long, but I have to pee, I can’t breathe, I can’t get this off. I was like, I’m going to die if you don’t get this off of me right now.”
“I’ve never been more uncomfortable,” Kim admitted back in the limo.
Eventually, the duo made it back to their hotel with Kardashian’s corset completely undone, only to find that her back was bruised and riddled with indentations from the ultra-tight outfit.
It’s safe to assume her floral slip was much more comfortable of a look.
